Tough

 

Just know I am tougher

I began with joy and yes it lingers, 

But when there are no longer 

birds soaring above

or flowers to adore 

and the sky is muted...

Know I am tougher

Tougher than rising challenges 

Tougher than this pressure 

Ready to overcome trivial battles for 

a greater treasure. 

Just know that I am tougher
